So, this is us on our wedding day! It was one of the best days of our lives and we loved every minute of it. The only problem on the day was that our photographer took forever! Don’t get us wrong, he was great, just not what we wanted. We wanted to have fun, to enjoy every second of it, to hang out with our kids, family and friends, to have a few drinks and a bit of a dance!

What we didn’t want was to be posed for endless pictures for a couple of hours. Now, some people love a photoshoot, they love a selfie, but that’s just not our bag! In fact, as a professional photographer for over a decade I have come to the conclusion that I became a photographer to avoid having my photo taken.

After our big day, looking at our photos they were missing what we wanted. We hadn’t any of the candid, natural moments, no laughing, no crying, no dancing on the tables! That’s what is special to us. All those little moments that make the day, well that make the day yours!

Now, before you ask, yes, we do take some posed snaps of you both, we will get a few with the bridal party and we will speed through your family shots with military precision! We’ll do the shouting at aunts and uncles so you don’t have to!! However, we won’t keep you long and after that we will be lurking in the background and in the thick of the action capturing all those amazing little moments.

 So, while we do a little bit of posing, we are documentary wedding photographers, fun and relaxed wedding storytellers.
